Welcome to Our Website
Saint Bede the Venerable is a parish of 1,225+ households located in Montgomery, Alabama. St. Bede actually began as a mission church in the 1920s, but officially became a parish in 1946. Since that time, it has steadily grown into the large yet close-knit community it is today. The St. Bede church moved to its present location in the fall of 1969. The St. Bede parish now includes the St. Bede School, a 360-student K-6 facility that was built in 1958, and the St. Bede Child Development Center that is located in our new Family Life Center. You can learn more about St. Bede Church, School, Children's Center, and community activities on the inside pages of this web site.

VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL
"Saints Around the World"
June 18-21, 2012
from 9:30-11:30 a.m in the Family Life Center
Children entering grades K through 5 in the Fall are invited. Registration information will be available soon. In the meantime, volunteers are needed in many areas from babysitting to games, snack preparation to crafts and many other activities. Contact Tracey Bender (traceybender@gmail.com or (334) 409-9217) or Joan Cavan (jcavan@stbedel.org or 272-3463, ext. 208). This is a great way to fulfill service hours and have fun at the same time.
